With a touch of whimsy SUPER releases an unexpected limited edition collaboration with one of the world’s most famous cats: HELLO KITTY.
Done as the ultimate ode to Japanese pop culture, for the sunglasses Super was specifically inspired by the “exuberant street style of Harajuku girls and sparkling aesthetics of purikura photo booths”.
Using one of their most feminine cat-eye shapes, their ‘Gals’ model was transformed into a completely fanticful one of a kind creation. The sunglasses were made using a sophisticated technique of utilizing different layers of printed acetate, including a layer of embedded sparkles — creating a rich three dimensional effect. The frames are then deliciously paired with gradient ‘pink/orange Sherbert’ colored Zeiss lenses and packaged with a matching printed box to distinguish the special product.
