The Persol 714 folding sunglasses are quite easily the most classic and sought after Persol ever made! Made legend by Steve McQueen both on screen, in movies such as the “The Thomas Crown Affair”, and off.

As many are aware a favorite of McQueen was the Persol 714 but with custom tinted blue lenses made for him by the late optician to the stars, Dennis Roberts. To pay tribute we have been adding custom tinted blue lenses to the Persol 649 and 714 standard models for many years. We take top quality French optical lenses manufactured by Essilor, then edge and custom tint them to the perfect shades of cool blue. We have been doing this for decades and consider this piece akin to a work of art. Please note: this is not a standard Persol model. This model contains Eyegoodies exclusive custom tinted lenses made using our specially formulated and mixed blue.
