Porsche Design since its inception has been renowned for both innovation and luxury. Now new for 2015 comes the latest icon to join their ranks, we present the P’8613 sunglasses.

The P’8613 aviator is a unisex design, that comes with two sets of interchangeable lenses that are easily switched in and out in seconds. One set that is rimmed in acetate and one standard – providing two distinct looks.  Handmade in Japan and made of ultra-light ultra-strong titanium, nothing was spared in their meticulous construction. It is available in two colorways: a gold frame with havana rimmed brown lenses + light blue flash mirror lenses. As well as a matte black frame with black rimmed silver mirror lenses + brown lenses.

The Porsche Design Studio was established in 1972 by Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, grandson of the Porsche founder and designer of the famed Porsche 911. The Studio has become world renowned for designing a wide range of innovative luxury products with immaculate craftsmanship, state of the art technology, and made from the absolute highest quality materials that all adhere to the same clear functionality of form.

Porsche Design is responsible for some of the most iconic sunglasses ever made, seen on a who’s who list from the rich and famous to the infamous during the 1970’s and 80’s.
To pay tribute to the most groundbreaking models in their history Porsche Design Eyewear has released their “Heritage Collection”.

The new collection re-issues the most notable of their sunglasses but revamps them for the 21st century. The same iconic styles that went out of production years ago are back with a serious upgrade in materials such as super light weight and strong, anti-corrosive titanium, as well as light weight shatter proof polycarbonate lenses back coated with a multi-layered premium anti-reflective coating.

Model P’8478:
The Porsche Design P’8478 Aviator sunglasses were originally Launched in 1978, known as “the exclusive” or “Exklusivbrille” (exclusive glasses). These Porsche aviators are one of the most famous and easily recognizable sunglasses ever made, and have been a symbol of wealth and prestige ever since their inception. The P’8478, comes with 2 sets of lenses that are easily switched in and out in seconds. One set with a flash mirror the other solid.
The frame is now made with ulta-light ultra-strong Titanium and features unbreakable polycarbonate lenses that are back coated with a multilayer anti-reflective coating.

Model P’8480:
The Porsche Design P’8480 was a groundbreaking piece when it was released in 1980. The amazing mechanism allows it to quickly fold to a mere 6×6 cm. They still come with the original genuine leather pouch.
The frame is now made with ulta-light ultra-strong Titanium and features unbreakable polycarbonate lenses that are back coated with a multilayer anti-reflective coating.

Model P’8433:
Not as tear dropped nor as big or bold as the P’8478. The Porsche Design P’8433 sunglasses are a contemporary well fitting aviator. Each pair comes with 2 sets of lenses that are easily switched in and out. One set with a flash mirror the other solid.

The frame is made from high quality stainless steel and features light weight unbreakable polycarbonate lenses that are back coated with a multilayer anti-reflective coating.

The Porsche Design P’8510 is a sharp exceptionally crafted unisex aviator that fits both men and women well. Not only well made but they are also distinctively stylish with their unique bridge.
