Just in the nick of time, we present Super’s new Holiday/Winter 2018 collection. This season draws inspiration from timeless design and a seasonal color palette to create unique frames that are equal parts classic and contemporary.

The new line-up of frames is all about the tint. Lens hues of Bordeaux, Turquoise, and “Mustard Seed”, light up an array of Super’s most iconic shapes: Ciccio, Flat Top, Drew, and Drew Mama. Additionally we see a few new styles in the mix, such as the Noto, a geometric modern take on classic rounded frames. As well as the contemporary and clean Numero 47 optical frame.

Garrett Leight California Optical, as the name suggests, is designed in California, with the signature laid back spirit we have come to love. However,  its not just for locals. Highlighted in the Holiday 2017/18 collection, is that it’s designed for everyone, all face shapes and sizes, skin tones, and genders. Simply put, the frames work on just about everyone who puts them on.

This season, as Garrett notes, is

“Inspired by Prince, an artist who mixed masculine and feminine as fluidly as musical genres, we created styles in different shapes that look good on both men and women, offered in multiple sizes for the perfect fit in everyone, and in a diverse mix of colors just like us.”

There is a wide assortment of new sun, optical, and clip-on styles added to the lineup. Each design showcases their own fresh eclectic details, unique finishes, and colorways that help define the season.

Some of our favorites include the timeless Penmar and Garfield. A rounded and squared design that mixes acetate and metal in new ways, and come complete with Garrett Leight’s signature clip in complimentary tones. Everything about these just feels substantial and rich.

Then there’s the Vista sunglass (above), a new sleek winged cat-eye design, done-up in a tone-on-tone rose gold.

Penmar is a classic round/oval style with great proportions. The unisex design features detailed metal filigree, a unique curving bridge, and acetate inserts. It also is available with Garrett Leight’s signature folding clip on sunglass lenses for added versatility.

Just in from Australia, the landmark, chic, and extremely hard to find cat-eye “Quixote” style is back!

After repeated requests, design houses Ellery and Graz Eyewear have once again joined forces and released two limited colorways of the sleek cat eye sunglasses.

Exploring monochromatic grey spectrum, the frame is available in: a Smoked Grey acetate front paired with brushed gunmetal temples and silver mirrored lenses. As well as a Crystal Grey(with a slight blue hue) front paired with crystal dark grey temples and smoke grey lenses.

As usual, this was a very limited production run, so once sold out that’s it.

We present the Oliver Goldsmith Goldside Edition. Two of their most beloved styles, the MANHATTAN and LORD, are all done up in raw grained black acetate, gold metallic temples, and finished off with flat gold flash mirrored lenses. Lending an elevated and striking look to the timeless designs. Be warned that supply is limited on these, as only 500 pairs were made worldwide, so once sold out that’s it.

Karen Walker “Metals” is a bold expression of negative space.
We introduced the range with Karen Walker’s first optical collection. Now we present the Metals sunglasses.

“We altered our focus this season with new styles that expose their intrinsic architecture and create a sense of illusion, almost as if the frames float on the face,” says Karen Walker.

The collection introduces a new aviator shape, the JACQUES, as well as metal reworks of classic Karen Walker shapes.  The all metal frames feature sleek cutouts on the front, lending a light and airy feel; jewellery for the eyes.

The stellar color palette includes metallic blue with blue mirror lenses, gold with classic G15 lenses , and silver with metallic silver mirror lenses. Worth noting the entire collection uses air-cushioned nose pads for a finely tuned comfortable fit and Zeiss lenses for superb optics.

Karen Walker debuts her first ever line of eyeglasses!

The “Metals” optical collection, featuring frames composed entirely from metal, is an exploration of negative space. In true Karen Walker fashion they are bold, chic, and unlike any eyeglasses we have ever seen.

“The lightness of the way the Metals frames float on the face worked perfectly for extension into clear lenses,” Karen says. “There’s an inherent delicacy to the collection that transcends conventional spectacles to become jewellery for the eyes.”
