Super sunglasses Spring Summer 2013 ‘Wanderism’ collection is now available.

Wandering far and wide, constantly seeking inspiration and advancement, yields one of SUPER’s strongest collections to date.  

It takes leaps forward both with new fresh and innovative designs as well as with technical advances. Gold metal detailing, luxe crocodile embossed leather, multicolored acetates, and new lens technologies are just a few of the notable features in the range.  There is a little something for everyone, from the subtle to the attention demanding.

The Collection:

A nod to the late iconic Italian designer Gianni Versace. Classic black sunglasses with chunky 3 bar gold detailing on the temples evoke an era, style, and culture of success in excess.  The 1990’s brazen aesthetic is transported perfectly into the present day.  Whether dressed up or down, the Gianni’s are undoubtedly a crisp addition. What more can we say, the pictures speak for themselves.

‘CAPO’ Italian for Boss, is befitting its namesake — It is the upper echelon high ranking piece of the collection. The Capo takes the standard Gianni Flat Top a step further by wrapping the temples in Italian croc embossed leather. Showy and a definite head turner.

The new GHOSTRIDER series features matte black frames with gunmetal detailing topped off with monotone mottled temple tips.  Boasting both strong technical and functional enhancement, they have the most advanced lenses in the Super lineup.

They are fitted with the exclusive Carl Zeiss tri-flection Methane lenses, both flash mirrored and back anti-reflective, providing incredible filtering abilities. It is offered in Supers Flat top and Racer shapes.

The People Savanna Francis sunglasses are one of the the more unique pieces in Super’s lineup this season.  It features a nice warm mix of crystal and tortoise acetate finished with complimentary brown Zeiss lenses and gold metal temples and detailing.

The MATTE DUSK range features a unique frosted matte ‘ice’ frame and are outfitted in specially formulated contrast Zeiss lenses.  Studies have proven that the special brown and orange tinted lenses provide the optimum balance of contrast and comfort to the eye, greatly enhancing the clarity of vision.  Such lenses work wonders on overcast days or while driving.  Available in the Basic as well as the Flat top.

The newly introduced Drew silhouette is a refined feminine shape reminiscent of old Hollywood.  The frame follows the contour of the wearer’ eyes while adding to and accentuating the width, creating a streamlined and classic sunglass.   Available in Havana (pictured below) as well as classic black.

Exclusively for Super’s optical range comes the new two-tone colorways: ‘Repertoire Black’ and ‘Repertoire Havana’. Characterized by a subtly-tinted semi-transparent acetate frame, outlined along its upper rim with a sharper, bolder acetate. Note that the new eyeglasses are slightly smaller than their sunglass counterparts, offering a better fit for most people as an optical frame.
