Just in from our latest Cutler and Gross eyeglass shipment, we present the new three-tone colors of their popular 0772 style.
Quintessential Cutler and Gross, the 0772 eyeglass is a traditional and classic design which has been a mainstay in their collection for years. It features thick and chunky Italian acetate and vintage rectangular pins, lending a very nostalgic 50/60’s feel to a frame which will always remain timeless. New for Spring Summer ‘13 it gets an update in the form of signature three-tone colorways. Featuring a dual color beveled front with the top half accentuating a bolder color — it is then finished off with similar, albeit slightly different complementary colored temples.
Needless to say, as with all Cutler and Gross frames, the quality and craftsmanship is at the absolute highest imaginable standards.

Eyegoodies is proud to welcome to the site Oliver Goldsmith sunglasses.
Oliver Goldsmith, founded in London in 1926, didn’t invent sunglasses — Nero wore thick slabs of emerald to shield his eyes from fierce Roman sun 2000 years ago. But there are few, if any, who have had the influence that Oliver Goldsmith has. They heralded an eyewear revolution, changing their perception from medical necessity to a fashion must-have.
If you haven’t heard of the brand, chances are you have seen their frames. Their signature sunglasses have adorned nearly every major celebrity and style icon from the 50’s onward. Think 20th Century icons such as: Michael Caine, Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Jackie O, Princess Diana, and the list goes on. A true pioneer, their sunglasses were the first to appear in Vogue, and they were the first to work with fashion houses to create one-off pieces for the catwalks.
Today, the legacy and traditions set forth way back then is continued through Oliver’s great-granddaughter Claire Goldsmith. The same quality, craftsmanship, and pride in handmade eyewear — One of kind sunglasses that speak not through obnoxious logos, but by the beauty, individuality, and personality in their designs.
Every year Oliver Goldsmith opens up their famed vintage archives and carefully selects from among their most beloved styles which will comprise their collection. Here we take a detailed look at one of the most iconic sunglasses, movies, and starlets of all time.

Today I met a delightful young lady called Audrey Hepburn. They tell me she is going to be a big star.” Oliver Goldsmith

Back in black with a powder coat finish, the ‘SPEEDWAY T’ sunglasses.
The Garrett Leight “Speedway with Top Bar” is an aviator which was specifically inspired by a frame worn by gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson in the late 1960’s and worn consistently through the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. Originally introduced in Garrett Leight’s first season, it returns in the Resort collection with a new limited edition powder-coat color treatment. The powder-coated finish gives the metal a matte appearance, as well as durability from the elements.
Available in two colors, our favorite being the Black on Black on Black, that is: black powder-coated metal, black acetate accents, and black lenses, for a clean and modern look. For the more traditionalist, it is also available in a powder-coat silver, with “Honey” accents and brown gradient lenses.

After years of customer requests we have finally decided to offer select sunglasses from our vintage vault to the public — kicking it off here with 4 rare vintage Versace pieces. Each frame is deadstock (mint condition) and in extremely limited quantity. Since they have not been in production for nearly two decades, once sold out that’s it.
Long before the legendary Notorious B.I.G. donned the now iconic Versace shades in his music video ‘Hypnotize’, they were sought after as being an ultimate symbol of opulence. A personification of not only the bold and unapologetic style of the Versace fashion house, but of the late Gianni Versace himself. Versace with his lavish estates spanning the globe, including Milan, Miami Beach, Manhattan, and Lake Como, led many to indulge the “comparison to Roman emperors and Medici princes.”
The most coveted vintage Versace sunglasses are not subtle, but rather evoke an era, style, and culture of success in excess.
