The Retro Super Future Winter 2012 collection is now in stock.
Just in time for the holidays SUPER drops a few goodies for your wish list.
Building upon the design and aesthetic of their Autumn 2011 collection Super continues this winter with its inspiration and exploration of Panama. There are some striking new colorways added to its lineup, such as cool unique two-tone matte colors, as well as a completely new silhouette: the Racer.

The much anticipated Super AW 2011/2012 Collection is now stock, supply limited!
“Panamá” flush with history and tradition, sets the stage as the title and inspiration for Retro Super Futures new Autumn Winter 2011/2012 collection. It “is a breaking point between old and new, the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean, North and South America, a place of trades, commerce, fusion and legends.”
This season we see the addition of 5 new shapes as well as inspired new colorways that both celebrate the past and innovate toward the future.

The Limited Edition SUPER Vincenzo sunglasses are now in stock. Supply Limited.
Part of Super’s special projects, meant to signify their top range models which are produced in extra limited quantity, Super releases the Vincenzo.
The Vincenzo restyles Super’s People model with several very cool touches and is truly representative of the “RETROSUPERFUTURE” namesake. Classic havana acetate is paired with monotone tortoise (Puma) acetate on both the bridge and temple. The gold plaques at the front and on the arms nicely catch the light to subtly shine against the havana. The Vincenzo strikes a great balance between a timeless simplicity and a modern freshness. Supply is limited, so get them while you can.
The Vincenzo features Super’s signature white box which has always distinguished their special projects.

The lastest summer drop from SUPER sunglasses is now in stock. Along with a much needed replenishment of staple pieces such as the Black Flat Tops, there are some great new additions to the line.
Here we highlight one of our favorites, the “Black Briar” series.
The Black Briar is an ode to the classic luxury styling of the 1970’s. The front of the sunglasses have shiny black acetate while each of the temples feature panel in “Briar”. The Briar effect is created using a rich acetate, giving the same smooth, glossy appearance of radica as was used in luxury cars. While the Black Briar series may heavily invoke the 70’s, they transcend era’s, making them a timeless classic in SUPER history.

The Limited Edition SUPER Randagio.
Part of Super’s special projects, meant to signify their top range models which are produced in extra limited quantity, Super releases the Randagio.
The Super Randagio is quite a unique piece, both a refined and strong design. Utilizing Super’s Flat top shape it features a monotone tortoise (Puma) acetate half covered in top notch Italian leather with gold accent trimmings.
Limited to 230 pieces total produced, the Randagio features Super’s signature white box which has always distinguished their special projects, as well as a unique all leather carrying case.

News from the East…SUPER CORE CLASSICS have returned!
The Spring Summer 2011 sunglass collection from Retro Super Future has finally arrived. This season Super celebrates its progression by re-releasing some of the most instrumental models from season’s past, as well as some fresh new color-ways (look for new colors up shortly). Representing a culmination of the Italian brands 3 year evolution, the core collection consists of a thorough range of eyewear: shapes, colors, and use of materials.
Re-released and re-stocked are many of the core pieces that helped define and refine the brand. Some of them sold out for weeks, some for months, some for years, are all back in limited quantities.
A few highlights of the re-release and re-stock are below. Also check out our Super brand page for the full range. As usual quantities are limited so get them while you can.

The new Winter 2011 collection of sunglasses from Retro Super Future have arrived.
The most notable of the new pieces is the expanded “Francis” series(combination acetate with gold metal temples). The Basic Shape and Ciccio Francis are now offered in havana & gold. Also new to the Francis set is the Andrea model which is available in havana & gold and black & gold in both sunglasses and eyeglasses. The new Francis pieces are a nice rich addition to the lineup.

The Ilaria transforms the Lucia model with the use of classic havana acetate and gold metal. The havana elegantly dresses the front of the frame and the temple tips while the gold metal gives it a rich contrast. Especially unique to the Ilaria is the gold metal which also outlines the lenses, really highlighting their round shape, as well as providing greater structural integrity.
Limited to 170 pieces total produced, the Ilaria features Super’s signature white box which has always distinguished their special projects, as well as a unique supple all leather carrying case.

The new RetroSuperFuture Metal and Acetate sunglasses now in stock.
While past season’s Super introduced a number of new shapes, the new Fall Winter 2010 collection is all about the use of a variety of materials. First there was the all leather flat top, now we take a look at the new Metal & Acetate (M&A) sunglasses and eyeglasses.
The Super M&A collection is just as the name implies, a use of “metal and acetate”. Super takes their People and Lucia models and updates them by using gold metal on the temples and bridge. The contrasting combination of the metal and acetate especially on the bridge gives it a very nostalgic classic 1950’s vibe, but still maintains a very young, relevant and current fresh look.
